Introduction

As part of ITS, ITS introduces its ITS-Switch and CMS system which is a one of a range of specialized products offered by ITS as part of ITS. Such specialized products complement and form a complete banking solution that caters for all the needs of the bank.

ITS-Switch is a comprehensive EFT and Card Management System, which integrates Front-End as well as Back-Office and is intended for issuers of all types of cards, as well as acquirers of all types of networks. The ITS-Card system is a set of independent modules, which operate in a fully integrated way, allowing the implementation of a tailor-made solution.

Solution Architecture

ITS-Card product family is composed of several modules covering Front-End and Back-Office:

Front-Office

• ITS-Switch
  Front-end modules are built up around a powerful routing engine ensuring Interconnection of different interfaces, Management and control of connections, Development of statistics linked to the server activity, Server supervision and Administration. This Module ensures authorization and stand-in services, as well as routing between the frontend systems: international association networks (Visa, MasterCard Europe -- formerly EuroPay, MasterCard, AMEX, Diners, JCB, etc.), national switches, issuers and acquirers’ information systems, service providers’ information systems (e-commerce, private merchant networks, etc.) as well as ATM and POS servers. ITS-Switch is EMV compliant since 2001. ITS-Switch-Switch includes also an online fraud and risk management tool.
• ITS-ATM
  It is a multi-brand ATM management system which supports market leaders ATMs and standards (NCR, Wincor, BanqIT, Orbit, Diebold, and Bull) The system can virtually work with any ATM manufacturer having ATM running with NDC or Diebold protocol) and multi-protocol ATM driver with a broad range of services, remote management and monitoring. ITS-ATM has been certified as EMV compliant since 2004.
• ITS-POS
  It is a multi-brand and multi-protocol POS server supporting both online and offline modes. ITS-POS server has been certified as EMV compliant since 2001. It includes a Terminal Management System (TMS) as well.

ITS-Switch front office also integrates online interfaces to international association networks, national switches and issuers and acquirers’ information systems. These interfaces are EMV compliant since 2001.

Back-Office

• ITS-CMS
  It is the Card Management System of ITS-Switch. Intended for issuers, this set of modules manages Applications, Cardholders contracts, Card production and management. It manages issuing of all kinds of cards (debit, charge, credit, prepaid, payroll, co-branded, corporate, purchase, virtual…) of all technologies (magnetic, proprietary chip technology, EMV) and defining card products characteristics. Credit module is exhaustive and manages all types of credit cards (Revolving Credit, Installments, Personal Loan, etc.). ITS-Switch-CMS is EMV compliant. ITS-Switch-CMS includes a fraud and risk management tool.
• ITS-Switch (Merchant)
  It is an optimum tool intended to Merchant acquirers and payment gateway processors for the management of traditional and virtual merchants, along with terminal equipment management.
• ITS-Switch (Chargeback)
  This module handles and automates litigation and dispute management with respect to each payment system regulations. It enables both issuers and acquirers to efficiently follow and process all complaints, frauds, and mistakes of card transactions.
• ITS-Switch (Loyalty)
  This ITS-Switch module is a transversal tool managing loyalty for any given transaction. The module parameters allow to setup loyalty programs and business rules that compute the loyalty points to be credited to the loyalty account of the Bank's client (cardholder or merchant).
• ITS-Switch (Accounting)
  The accounting module generates financial operations that are further declined into accounting entries according to the accounting system specifications.
• ITS-Switch (Collection)
  The collection module is an integrated tool enabling the user to collect delinquent accounts. Various delinquency events can be defined, and various strategies applied to delinquent clients, accounts and cards.

ITS-Switch back-office also integrates national and international clearing mechanisms.
