With a strong, strategic, operational and leadership background of over 20 years in the areas of Business Management, Operations, Finance, Techno-Legal-Commercial areas of Information Technology and Risk Management, Al-Saeid has been an integral part of the software industry since 1983.
In 1993, Al-Saeid assumed the role of AGM for Customer Services and took over the Saudi Arabian Operations in 1997. He proceeded to turn it into a profitable entity, just before moving back to Kuwait to assume the DGM –operations role in 2001. In 2002, he was promoted to the post of General Manager of ITS Group. In May 2004, he donned the role of Managing Director and General Manager at the ITS.
Al-Saeid has been lauded by reputed publications for his visionary strategic and professional style. He has been responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the ITS group. |
In 2003, he was tasked with ITS expansion from a market leader position in the Middle East and Africa to its establishment as a key player in emerging marketplaces (including Asia and the Pacific).
A background in computer engineering and in-depth knowledge of new trends in IT and management have helped shape Al-Saeid’s vision for the future of ITS and its subsidiary (ITS-GBS). He is also a renowned corporate leader. Al-Saeid holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Syracuse University (NY/USA).
He has also completed an Executive Program for Global Leadership at Harvard University. In 2008, the Arabian Business Group endowed him with the “Entrepreneur of the Year” achievement award.
